Customer Background:

Lost Creek Landscapes An award-winning landscape design and build firm, Lost Creek Landscapes has been serving the Northern Virginia region for more than 10 years and is fully licensed and insured in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. Not only specializing in all aspects of landscape and masonry services, Lost Creek Landscapes holds extensive knowledge in the native shrubs, trees, and plantings that thrive in the Northern Virginia area.

The Challenge:

When getting the word out on landscape services, Lost Creek Landscapes came to Digital Assembly Line in 2004 in need of a website presence. Digital Assembly Line provided Lost Creek Landscapes with a template auto website to highlight their services and achievements, and as the new website was unveiled, Digital Assembly Line created a new brand for Lost Creek. Fast forward to 2007, when after seeing a decrease in leads and a cost increase in service, Lost Creek Landscapes made the decision to terminate their Yellow Pages contract. Lost Creek once again turned to Digital Assembly Line to set up and manage a Pay Per Click website marketing campaign to stimulate leads. After a year of the Pay Per Click campaign, Lost Creek decided to expand their Internet search presence and hired Digital Assembly Line to perform Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on their website. After Digital Assembly Line started SEO, Lost Creek saw an astounding 50 percent in leads from the previous year.

Stimulated by their Internet marketing success with Digital Assembly Line, Lost Creek Landscapes asked Digital Assembly Line to create a package of marketing materials in order to project a more professional image when presenting to customers. In response, Digital Assembly Line created a beautiful suite of materials, including a pocket folder, business card, letterhead, envelope and a services one-sheeter.

Digital Assembly Line's contribution to Lost Creek Landscapes' leads, marketing, and revenue has gone anything but unnoticed. Butch Whitton, Owner of Lost Creek Landscapes, says, "When I started working with Digital Assembly Line back in 2004, we were a small, one-crew landscaping firm. The Internet marketing I have done with Digital Assembly Line over the last few years has allows me to grow to three crews and be in the position to larger-scale projects." Whitton continues, "In fact, we signed a customer last year to a project for over $500,000. I would not be in the position I am today without the marketing expertise of Digital Assembly Line."
