A national vendor of Avaya and Cisco telephone systems, Advanced Communication Solutions based in Warrenton, Virginia, offers customers throughout Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC and across the country the opportunity to work more efficiently through the appropriate communication tools. Offering services ranging from traditional voice telephones and Voice Over Internet Protocol - also known as VoIP - to computer cabling and infrastructure management, the telecommunication experts at ACS provide more options for communication technology than any other company.
The Challenge:
Offering customers the latest products and services is key to ACS's success and depends greatly on an updated, accurate and timely website. After working with another company for many months attempting to create a greater online presence and increase their business, ACS was not realizing the expected growth or return on investment. In fact, five months into a one-year Search Engine Optimization contract with another marketing firm, ACS learned the firm had promised something that could not be delivered. Based on that negative experience, ACS executives were skeptical of all marketing firms and promises made.After meeting with Digital Assembly Line's developers, ACS decided to give SEO one more shot and hoped for better results. DAL was contracted to create a website that was user friendly, informative and could easily be maintained by ACS employees as needed.
DAL developed a robust, easy-to-use website, which allows ACS staff to upload and update product information easily, in addition to other custom designed web applications. The SEO experts at DAL also created several custom tailored landing pages to use in association with Pay Per Click advertising campaigns on Google AdWords, MSN and Yahoo!.
After the launch of the new ACS website, it was determine an additional feature was needed to really achieve customer outreach and communication standards promised. A custom-designed live chat application was developed which allows customers to interact with ACS representatives regarding product information, orders and on-site assessment consultations.
